// ASK THE EXPERTS:

ESSENTIAL ADVICE FROM OUR GAME DIRECTORS!

By Zack Cutler
If you watch our weekly video broadcasts, you know that we are constantly answering questions about our Casinos, our Games and our CLUB Rewards program. Many of the questions we receive are asked repeatedly, so we decided to answer the most commonly asked questions right here, where everyone can see the answers. To make sure we got the answers right, we brought in The Experts - the Gaming Directors at each of our Casinos. Trenton Daughtry (WCA), Scott Burleson (CCM) and Wade Howard (WCW) have over 63 years of combined gaming experience, so if anyone knows the answers, they do. Guys?
Q: How do the casinos at Wind Creek payout compared to the casinos in Mississippi?
A: On average our payouts are 27% higher than all the casinos in Mississippi! Also, unlike any casino in Mississippi, you will earn base-points on your CLUB Card when you are playing with FREE Play that Wind Creek has provided to you. You'll have a hard time finding that in Biloxi. (Wade Howard)
Q: How are games chosen for the floor? Why are some games taken away?
A: We are constantly looking for the newest and most exciting game experiences for our Guests. Some games offer a specific theme we feel our Guests would enjoy, like our “Sweet Home Alabama” game. Other games may have an added bonus or other feature that sets them apart. We analyze our games every day and we talk to our Guests every day, so if we see that a game that our Guests don’t like, we remove it. If you have suggestions for new games, or want us to bring back an old favorite, let one of our friendly Team Members know and they will pass along your requests! (Trenton Daughtry)
Q: How are Hot Seats chosen, and how do you choose people to come on stage for promotions?
A: Hot Seats are chosen at random by a computer that reads games that have an active CLUB Card in them. You don’t even need to be playing, you can just have your card in a machine! For Promotions, electronic entries into some drawings are earned when a Guest accumulates a certain number of points in a specific time frame. Guests then swipe their CLUB Card at a kiosk to activate their entries. All of these active entries are put into a “virtual” drawing barrel, where the computer selects winners at random. Tournaments and promotions work the same way, either by: a) random selection by the computer, b) activated entries earned, or c) by simply signing up! Remember, winning a Promotion is not the same as winning a Jackpot! (Scott Burleson)
Q: How are the Hot and Cold games calculated?
A: We review the performance of our games every day and we know the average amount each game pays out every day. When determining the Hottest and Coldest games, we look for the games that paid out significantly higher or significantly lower than their average, over a certain period of time. (Scott Burleson)
Q: Why doesn’t Wind Creek Casino offer table games?
A: Our authorization to operate a casino comes from the United States Government, and they only allow Native American casinos to offer games based on the game of bingo. That is why all of our gaming machines have a bingo card on the game screen. Authorization to offer table games would have to come from the state government, and Alabama has not given us permission to do so. (Wade Howard)

Q: Does having my CLUB Card in the machine affect whether or not I hit a Jackpot?
A: No. The machines hit Jackpots randomly, whether the Card is in or not. The only way to increase your likelihood of a Jackpot is how often you play. The more time you play, the more likely you are to win a jackpot! This isn’t just a catchphrase - it’s how the games work! (Trenton Daughtry)
Q:? What are base-points, and how do they work?
A: Base-points are a form of bonus currency that is earned while playing with your CLUB Card, which can later be used to get FREE Play and other perks such as free rooms, free meals, and participation in promotions and special drawings. The more you play, the more you earn, but remember, you have to be a member of THE CLUB and you have to play with your CLUB Card to earn those points! (Wade Howard)
Q: How does playing Max Bet affect the ultimate payout?
A: The payout tables on games might show a top prize of 10,000 credits. Jackpot payouts are affected by the size of the bet and the number of pay lines. A maximum bet covers all of the pay lines and rewards the player with the maximum dollar payout. Betting the minimum only covers some of the pay lines and therefore pays out a lower dollar amount. Here’s one way of looking at it: let’s pretend the Jackpot is 10,000 credits. If you placed a minimum bet of 25 cents and hit a Jackpot, you would receive 25 cents multiplied by 10,000 credits, which would be 250,000 credits, or $2,500.00. However, if you bet the maximum of $2.50, hitting a Jackpot with that same 10,000 credits pays $2.50 x 10,000, which works out to $25,000. So, if you want to win the biggest Jackpots, you have to play Max Bet. (Trenton Daughtry)
Q: Can you explain how the progressive jackpots work?
A: Jackpot awarded is based off of a progressively growing amount of money that’s been put into multiple machines that are networked together. Since there are more people paying into these Jackpots, these types of games provide opportunities to win larger Jackpots. There are three types of Progressive games: Single Game Progressives, In-House Progressives and Wide Area Progressives. They all work differently, so let’s examine each one. Single Game Progressives are variable Jackpots that grow based on the amount of play that a single game receives. In-House Progressives refers to when several games in a single casino are networked together. Each game contributes to one big Jackpot pool that’s awarded to a player that hits a Jackpot on any of those games. Wide Area Progressive games work much like In-House Progressives, only they are linked across all three of our Casinos, and some are even linked to hundreds of Casinos across the Country! When you hear about one of our Guests hitting a Million Dollar Jackpot, you can be sure they were playing a Wide Area Progressive title. So, if you want to REALLY hit it big, play on a Wide Area Progressive game and always play the Max Bet! (Wade Howard)
Q: Why haven’t I won a Jackpot?
A: I can’t answer that except to say you just haven’t gotten lucky yet, but you have to keep playing! Unless you manage to hit a Jackpot the very first time you play (and we all wish that would happen!), no one wins a Jackpot until they win a Jackpot! (Scott Burleson)
